Paths of Least Resistance
Torn up white A4 paper on cardboard
Divisions in 10, 20, 30 and 40 pieces.
The first tear is made in the reading order, from top left to bottom right. From the point where the tear has the biggest indentation a new tear is made with again the objective to divide the piece in equal parts. By using this method the paper itself determines the compositions. The first composition is a division of 10 in one direction. The second composition is a division of 20 in two directions. The third composition is a division of 30 in three directions. The forth composition is a division of 40 in all four directions.
